Once I go to a chiropractor, will I always have to go?

How long you decide to benefit from chiropractic care is always up to you. After experiencing the difference Chiropractic care has on their lives, most of our patients decide to continue with periodic care to stay well once they get well.

Can chiropractic cure everything?

Rather than combating those components that make us ill, chiropractic focuses on supporting those systems that make us well. What this means for you is a vitalistic approach to health and a broad impact on your overall well-being. Chiropractic care may not cure everything, but it has a positive effect on all body systems through its impact on your nervous system.

Why would I have my newborn or young child adjusted?

Birth is as physically demanding on the baby as it is on the mother. If the injury from this trauma is not addressed early, it could set your child up for a lifetime of struggles with developmental delays. Like getting your teeth checked by a dentist before you have pain, let a chiropractor check you and your children’s spines before there are issues. It is significantly easier to stay well than it is to get well.

Can chiropractic help with colic and how?

The first few months of life are extremely stressful on babies. Your baby is exposed to new food, new sounds, new smells, new tastes. This can overload the baby’s young body and cause many systems to function suboptimally, particularly the bowels. It’s like being at Thanksgiving dinner and trying everything on the table until you’re full to burst. The only way to release that discomfort is by relieving yourself, but in the case of many babies they cannot because of a stress blockage. Chiropractic treatment restores bowel function, eliminating pressure and discomfort.

Does my insurance cover chiropractic visits?

Most health insurance plans do have chiropractic coverage. During your initial complementary consultation, we will work to verify what your chiropractic benefits are and what your responsibility would be prior to any charges being rendered.

Do I need a referral from my physician?

In most cases, a referral is not necessary! However, if one is required, we will gladly assist you.

Do you work with medical doctors?

Chiropractic care is not mutually exclusive. Many times chiropractic care is only a piece of the puzzle in fulfilling your health care needs. Our goal is for everyone to live a life with No Limits, and we will support you 100% as a part of your health care team.

Will I get adjusted on my first visit?

Every spine and every body is different. For this reason, our doctors do a thorough consultation and examination on the first visit to understand your condition and how they might be able to help. Whether or not an adjustment is performed is dependent on many factors, but our doctors will do everything they can to assist in your health journey starting day one.

Will you suggest exercises or other things I can do?

Chiropractic care works to assist the body in the healing process. Our office specializes in being your partner in health and wellness. Because of this partnership, certain exercises and activities are suggested and expected.

Can someone who has had back surgery see a chiropractor?

Absolutely! In fact, surgical patients have a greater need for chiropractic care. With patient-specific treatment, we help alleviate the need for future surgeries on the regions above or below the initial intervention.
